Over Moulding

Over moulding combines plastics with materials like rubber to form a completed part. It's a two-step process, the over moulding process uses a pre-formed plastic part placed into a mould. The second material is then injected into the mould, covering all or part of the first part. Over moulding is a good choice if you want to mould a rubber piece onto a piece of hard plastic.
